Savannah Guthrie and her husband, Michael Feldman, tied the knot in 2014 and have been going strong ever since.
Guthrie met Feldman in October 2008 when she attended his 40th birthday party with a mutual friend after her separation from her first husband, Mark Orchard.
“I met a man named Mike Feldman at a party, a political consultant who made me laugh,” the NBC personality wrote in a September 2015 blog post for Guideposts magazine. “We fell in love.”
The pair didn’t begin dating until the following year after Guthrie finalized her divorce from Orchard. Feldman proposed in May 2013, and Guthrie later revealed that the duo broke up the same day they got engaged. The two eventually reconciled and got engaged again the following year.

The pair got engaged during a trip to Turks and Caicos. During an April 2019 episode of Today, Guthrie revealed that she broke up with Feldman earlier in the day.
“It got to the point where no one thought we were ever going to get married — including us, especially including me," Guthrie shared on the show. “We were kind of at that point in life where it was like, we're either going to have to decide to get married or we're just going to have to love each other but let each other go."
Guthrie explained that she gave Feldman an ultimatum while they were on vacation.
“I was like, ‘Sweetie, I love you so much, but if we can’t decide, then I think we’ve decided,’” she recalled. What Guthrie didn’t know was that Feldman had already purchased an engagement ring and was planning to pop the question during the trip.
Later that evening, Feldman asked Guthrie to marry him, and she said yes after thinking about it “for about .2 seconds.”

Guthrie opened up about suffering a miscarriage and going through two rounds of in vitro fertilization after welcoming her daughter Vale.
“I stopped even letting myself hope or believe I could [get pregnant again] because the years were getting on,” she recalled of her mindset at the time during a March joint interview with Hoda Kotb for Good Housekeeping. “It wasn’t that I thought it was impossible; I just thought it wasn’t likely. I didn’t want to get my hopes up.”
She continued: “I just tried to tell myself that it would be OK if it didn’t happen: ‘Maybe it’s not meant for me, and that’s OK because I’ve already been blessed so much in my life, I’m not entitled to have a baby too.’ Looking back, that mindset was probably a self-defense mechanism.”
